Yeah, unfortunately all creatures in GW worlds need huge teeth, to the point that they start merging together...Eric Wierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01276836738624222147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901426566557963132.post-50969696310992537022018-04-04T20:32:31.598-07:002018-04-04T20:32:31.598-07:00It will be really interesting to see if they use t...It will be really interesting to see if they use the Titanicus stuff to aid in making new knights. It certainly seems possible. I did think they suggested the first few models for it would be identical to the FW 40k titans and just scaled down.Eric Wierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01276836738624222147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901426566557963132.post-16248735103165388642018-04-04T02:49:17.326-07:002018-04-04T02:49:17.326-07:00Thanks for another nice episode! That has always been the case, but it seems there are no plant eaters in the warhammer world. Every monster needs monster teeth, even a triceratops. Or a turtle. Or the ray on the base of the water-cloak guy -which is indeed a cool figure. Even if his helmet-crest would make movement under water quite comlicated.
I wonder why the octopus doesn't have teeth. Wouldn't it look so much cooler with a big fucking grin on it's face? I cant help but think that this is a very clever corning cutting on GW's part to double down the money with essentially the same mold as far as that knight goes. I have no problem with that honestly if thats the case. I like the model over all and if anything would definitely think about converting it for use as an Imperator Titan for Epic scaled gaming, it really nails that look for sure. The deepkin are a very surprising development that I definitely didnt see coming, I am honestly real excited about the washed up shipwreck scenery they seem to be shown with. Definitely a lot of good looking bits for conversions to say the least.Red Wet Skeletonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18315822743529781387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901426566557963132.post-42225197033595594072018-04-01T05:31:31.360-07:002018-04-01T05:31:31.360-07:00Yeah, the smaller knight just doesn't look qui...Yeah, the smaller knight just doesn't look quite right. Something about the legs makes it look like it is wearing pants that were pulled up way too high, ha ha. I feel they kept to close to the larger knight design because it was easier.Eric Wierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01276836738624222147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901426566557963132.post-51065894194162276842018-04-01T05:28:00.533-07:002018-04-01T05:28:00.533-07:00Yeah that is an interesting point. They left designers sculpt stuff and since they looked okay, that was good enough.Eric Wierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01276836738624222147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901426566557963132.post-30401782859302370742018-04-01T03:45:56.967-07:002018-04-01T03:45:56.967-07:00Maybe the knights will have a conversion kit that ...Maybe the knights will have a conversion kit that will allow them to be used as a Warlord or whatever when Adeptus Titanicus gets released...? I like the new bigger knight but I don't really like the smaller one (I think it's the legs, they don't look right to me, too fancy and not brutal enough for my liking to suit the lore). I agree totally with your comments about the codex--a major reason why I rarely buy anything GW these days, it seems to need further purchases very soon after to keep it relevant...
The Idoneth Deepkin are sort of cool, at least I agree the leader is a very good model in and of himself. I agree with most of your other comments--at this stage I'm interested to see more but the rank and file foot soldiers aren't very interesting, and the anglerfish/executioner is breathtakingly stupid, but overall interesting.
