Dragged into Turbolasers Episode 28: Necromunda Underhive, more details emerge

Necromunda is back!

With Nova Open occuring this weekend, Games Workshop previewed a host of new products, including revealing a lot more information on the new version of Necromunda. We talk at length about the new gang models, but also about the components included in the boxed game. We also critique the new hero models contained in the upcoming Age of Sigmar Blightwar.

  2. Good episode as usual. 👍👍👍

Interesting that they have gone for a 2 level (pun intended) game, one on a board and one on the old school multi level terrain format. I like the models more now we have seen more of them but I agree with all of your criticisms of them. They also don't look modular so it I'll be interesting to see the actual sprues. I also just can't help but think that GW has lost the ability to sculpt faces across the last 20 years. The models of the 90s for all their other faults, have faces that look so much better and more characterful. The new Goliaths do actually have good faces though, I agree.

    1. I agree that it does not look like the models will be very modular, but we can hope. I also know what you mean about the faces. It almost feels like due to digital sculpting they just copy and paste the same basic face on all the models. While not terrible, the Esher faces too look pretty plain and baby faced.
